We encourage our parishioners to pray for those who have left the Church and invite them to join us at St. Tarcissus. Parishioners can open and print this brochure to be used as an invitation for those who have drifted from the practice of the faith. There are 20 million Catholics in the United States who no longer practice the faith or do so sporadically. This is in addition to the 70 million Catholics who are more active. In fact, if one takes the number of those who have drifted away, it adds to the second largest religion in the United States; practicing Catholics being the first. Amazing, isn’t it, that so many have drifted away? We need to invite our brothers and sisters to join us! While ads might help, nothing is more effective than a personal invitation. Invite someone you know to come back home to the Catholic Church. |
