Sacraments - First Reconciliation and First Communion
Most of our students receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion for the first time in the second grade. In the Archdiocese of Chicago, children need to complete a minimum of two years of RE (Religious Education) and a few other requirements to receive the Sacraments for the first time. It is important to remember that it is never too late to complete the Sacraments of the Church (we work with people of all ages to prepare for the Sacraments). Please contact the RE office if you know anyone beyond the second grade who would like to receive First Communion.
